Inglewood Bird Sanctuary

The sanctuary is situated along the bend of the Bow River and is the only federally designated migratory bird sanctuary in North America with special protection rights.

Pearce Estate Park

Pearce Estate Park lies in a curve of the Bow River as it flows through the southeast part of the city. The 15-hectare wetland area, when combined with the adjacent provincially operated Bow Habitat Station, results in a 21-hectare park.

Bow River Pathway

The starting point is along 9th Avenue SE, by the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary. This route follows the Bow River for a time along a dedicated pathway, with diversions into Historic Inglewood.
